Thanks for visiting the homepage for our Interactive Visitor Logging Software! We originally put this piece of software together for a client that needed an interactive visitor log that had capabilities beyond what we could find in any pre-made logging tools. Some of those requirements were:

• Needed to use an interactive map
• Needed to geocode an IP address into a latitude and longitude
• Needed to be more than a "session based" or "live" image of "who's online now"
• Needed to retain history for more than a set number of records.
• Needed the ability to highlight the current user and other "online now" users, but also continue to display historical users in a way that demonstrates growth
• Needed to utilize a minimum number of languages for ease of maintenance.

Out of these requirements came to be this smashup of technologies. When this started, we were working with PHP,  JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, and C#. Now the system utilizes VB.NET and Javascript, and while it still utilizes AJAX and JSON calls, they are managed by the Javascript code and do not need to be "played with" by the end user.

In FACT, none of the technologies need to be known to utilize this product. To use our FREE MAP, just insert an iframe into your site and set it's source to http://maps.c2itconsulting.net/maps/map.aspx?host=YourHostNameHere. Replace "YourHostNameHere" with your websites domain name (i.e. www.c2itconsulting.net) and you'll instantly have your own map ready to insert into a site (or a number of sites, using the same host value)

Our base system removes any history older than 31 days. For $10 a year, we will provide you with unlimited growth and record keeping, and we will soon be adding reporting "slider" type controls so that you can see the growth and expansion of your website on a map over time. The unlimited map also allows you to customize the link in the top left corner of the map with your own text and URL, as well as resize the map to met our needs.
